Harry Potter Night
I have been bad about posting some of the things we did at the end of last year so here is a quick catch up. Our kids are totally into Harry Potter right now. So, to continue our tradition of fun family dinner nights when the kids get their report cards, we had a Hogwarts dinner night. Sorry that all of these pictures aren't good but you'll get the basic idea.
We started the night by sorting the kids using the sorting hat. Of course they all belonged to Griffyndor. And we had to have some magic classes. The kids got out their wands (chopsticks) and practiced some spells...lumos, expelliarmus, and one we made up that shrinks things (we made an egg shrink into a jar). Dad was a great professor.

What a great idea! I'll have to keep that in mind for future report cards!
