Niagra Falls

When we moved to the East Coast, we made a gigantic list of all the places we wanted to visit while we were here. Everything from the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia to the northeastern states has found its way onto the list. We are slowly but surely checking things off the list. We may not get to all of them but we are sure going to try. So this last trip was taken to Niagra Falls. Rather than spending all our money on passports, we decided to just to the American side and go on all the attractions. The falls were amazing. It was really neat to see them and to get up close to them. We joked with the kids about going over in a barrel and just had a really good time. Definately a must see.

Here is the view of the falls from the boat. It was crazy to be down in there with all the mist from the water. Can you see all the huge rocks at the bottom? Now you know why you can't survive going over in a barrel!

Here we are on the steps going up to the falls on the Cave of the Wind tour. You really do get right up next to the falls...and soaking wet! The kids loved it. They all agree that it was worth the 3 hour wait.
